VOTING DATES & DEADLINES

DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

Tuesday, March 3, 2020, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration is Monday, February 10, 2020.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you is Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

If you mail in your ballot, it must received no later than 7 PM on Tuesday, March 3; the postmark date is irrelevant, so please allow seven days for your ballot to be delivered.   Make sure your vote is counted!

In-person absentee voting begins on Friday, January 17, 2020 and continues through Saturday, February 29, 2020.

GENERAL ELECTION DAY

Tuesday, November 3, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The deadline to register, or update an existing registration, to vote in the November 3, 2020 Election is Monday, October 13, 2020.

On the 2020 ballot in Falls Church City will be candidates for President, the US Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives.

Register to vote or verify your existing Voter Registration status online at https://www.elections.virginia.gov/ or by calling the Falls Church City Office of Elections at 703-248-5085.

GENERAL ELECTION ABSENTEE/EARLY VOTING

To request an absentee ballot be mailed to you, you must make your reqeust by 5:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

To request an absentee ballot by appearing in person, your must make your request by 5:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Voting Absentee by Mail for the November 2020 General Election:

Your absentee vote-by-mail must be received by the Falls Church Office of Voter Registration & Elections by 7:00  PM, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  The postmark date on your absentee ballot is irrelevant, so please allow seven days for your ballot to be delivered.  Make sure your vote is counted!
